John Cromwell Mather (b. 1946 En Roanoke, Virginia), est un astrofísico et cosmólogo américain.

Il a été galardonado avec la Prix Nobel de Physicienne en 2006 je joins avec George F. Smoot, Par ses travaux en la NASA dans le projet COBE.
