Plastic Ono Band dans un principe faisait référence au nom sous lequel John Lennon et Yoko Ono ont publié son premier thème Give Peace À Chance. Un groupe avec le nom de Plastic Ono Band dans ce moment encore était inexistant. Il a été dans son action dans le festival de Toronto lorsqu'en septembre de 1969 s'a créé une bande qu'ils ont soutenu Lennon et Ono dans ses albums d'étude (John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band, c'est-à-dire, Yoko / Plastic Ono band (1970).

Histoire
La bande a été fondée par Lennon et Ono dans le festival de Toronto en Canada.
il ne s'était pas eu occasion d'essai lorsque le groupe s'est parti en avion à Toronto. S'ensayó dans l'avion même. John Lennon a touché avec les autres membres de la bande quelques classiques du Rock, comme par exemple "Johnny B. Goode" Et "Blue Suede Shoes".
Ils Ont en plus présenté le thème des Beatles "Yer Blues" de l'appelé White Album et les nouvelles compositions autant de Lennon: "Cold Turkey" et "Give Peace À Chance; comme d'Ono: "Monsieur´t worry", "Kyoko" et "John, John".
Le concert de Toronoto s'a présenté sous le concept d'Yoko Ono. En passant la majeure part du temps dans le plateau accompagnés de guitaristes.
Il écarte de dit concert, le groupe a réalisé autrui. En 1969 il s'a publié l'action de Toronto comme LP Live Peace à Toronto. Dans l'an 1988 s'a aussi fait public le matériel de video. Autant le matériel d'audio, comme le de vidéo s'a vendu muchísmo dans son temps. Pourtant la bande n'a pas suivi en existant sous ce même groupement.
