Shirley Schrift (18 août de 1920 – 14 janvier de 2006), mieux connue comme Shelley Winters a été une actrice américaine qu'a participé à divers films. Il a gagné deux prix Óscar d'Hollywood comme meilleure actrice de répartition, dans les deux cas en interprétant le papier de mère dans Le quotidien d'Ana Frank (1959) et en Un retazo bleu (1965).

Un de ses papiers ses plus populaires a été en 1977 dans le film Pedro et le dragon Elliot dans laquelle interprétait à une dame avec peint de sorcière mauvaise.

Il A en plus participé à l'acclamé film "L'aventure du Poseidón".

Il est mort en 2006 avec 85 ans d'âge.
