Business Plot

Le Business Plot (complot de l'Affaire) ou Plot Against FDR (complot contre Roosevelt) ou White House Putsch (complot de la maison blanche) a été une présumée conspiration de negociantes pour derrocar la présidence de Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Le complot
En 1933, s'a dénoncé une conspiration pour derrocar au président Franklin D. Roosevelt Moyennant un coup militaire. Cette présumée conspiration, dont l'existence réelle est difficilement demostrable, s'a connu comme le Business Plot (Complot des Affaires), parce que théoriquement impliquait à l'élite industrielle et financière, dont les intérêts ils se supposaient menacés par la politique du New Deal. Il s'a dévoilé devant l'opinion publique lorsque le général des marines retiré Smedley Butler testificó devant le Comité McCormack-Dickstein du Congrès des États-Unis qu'avait été tanteado par un groupe de grands intérêts économiques, dominé par les empires industriels Dupont et J. P. Morgan, pour orchestrer un coup militaire contre Roosevelt.[1]

- Robert Clark - Heir to the Singer sewing machine fortune.
- Gerald MacGuire - Bond salesman for Clark, and à member of the Connecticut American Legion. MacGuire was the key recruiter to Général Butler.[2]
